Project Coordinator, ICT Expert, Financial Management Specialist, Mechanization Expert 11 views

The Government of the Punjab, Agriculture Department, has announced high-level contractual career opportunities for 2026. Applications are invited from eligible candidates domiciled in Punjab for recruitment under the Punjab Climate Resilient and Low Carbon Agriculture Mechanization Project (P-CLAMP), which is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

These positions are based at the Directorate General Agriculture (Field), Punjab, and are purely on a contract basis initially for 01 year, extendable up to the project period (December 2030) subject to satisfactory performance. This is an exceptional opportunity for highly experienced professionals to contribute to a major, donor-funded agricultural development initiative in the province.

3 Mechanization Expert 09 62 Years B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including experience in public sector development projects and agricultural mechanization.
4 Contract Management Specialist 09 55 Years Master’s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or related. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in procurement and contract management of donor-funded projects.
5 Procurement Specialist 09 45 Years Master’s degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field. At least 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, including 5 years in donor-funded projects.
6 Environment Specialist 08 55 Years Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years with donor-funded or infrastructure projects.
7 ICT Expert 08 50 Years Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in ICT systems design and implementation (at least 3 years in development sector projects).
8 Social Safeguard Specialist 08 55 Years Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in social/environmental safeguards, preferably in ADB/World Bank projects.
9 Gender Specialist 08 50 Years Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Sociology, or related social science field. Minimum 8 years of experience in gender mainstreaming in development projects. Familiarity with ADB gender policies.

Important Terms & Conditions

  • Nature of Job: Appointments are temporary, non-transferable, and non-pensionable, conferring no right for regularization.

  • Selection Criteria: Recruitments will be made strictly on merit on an all-Punjab basis in accordance with the criteria approved in the PC-I.

  • Government Employees: Must apply through the proper channel.

  • No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be paid for the test/interview.
