The Special Branch, Punjab Police has announced an excellent recruitment drive for the year 2026. Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates possessing a valid Punjab domicile. These positions are being offered on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years in the technical cadre of the Special Branch.

Written Test / Paper Composition
Candidates will have to pass a screening test to qualify for the next stages. The minimum passing criteria is 40% marks.
- For General/Technical Posts (EDS & SS):
- Part 1 (Subjective/Objective): General Knowledge + Pak Studies + Islamiyat (25 Marks), Urdu (12 Marks), English (13 Marks) = 50 Marks.
- Part 2 (MCQs): Technical Subject = 50 Marks.
- For Canine Handlers:
- Part 1: MCQs relating to Canine Handling (50 Marks).
- Part 2: Practical Test for Canine Training, Handling, Vaccination, Care (50 Marks).
