The Science & Information Technology Department, Government of Balochistan, has announced 3 posts of Computer Instructor (BPS-17) through BPSC Consolidated Advertisement No. 09/2026. The selected instructors will teach computer science and information technology subjects in public-sector institutions, develop practical lab-based lessons, and help build digital skills among students across the province. Both male and female candidates with a Balochistan domicile are eligible. This is a strong opportunity for IT graduates who want to combine teaching with a government career in Balochistan.
Eligibility Criteria & Important Instructions
- Qualification (any one of): Master’s degree (at least 2nd Division) in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering; OR 4-year Bachelor’s degree (at least 2nd Division) in Computer Science, IT or Information Systems; OR Bachelor’s in Engineering (at least 2nd Division) in Computer Systems, Software Engineering, or Information & Communication Systems — from a recognized university. Teaching experience in IT will be preferred.
- Number of posts: 3 — Merit 01, Sibi Zone 01, Quetta City 01.
- Age limit: 18 to 28 years, plus general age relaxation up to 43 years (up to 50 for government servants with 2+ years of continuous regular service). Age is calculated on the closing date.
- Domicile: Balochistan domicile is required.
- Selection: Screening (MCQ) test followed by Viva Voce.
- Advertisement: BPSC Consolidated Advertisement No. 09/2026, dated 9 October 2026.
