The Special Branch, Punjab Police has announced an excellent recruitment drive for the year 2026. Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates possessing a valid Punjab domicile. These positions are being offered on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years in the technical cadre of the Special Branch.

This is a highly specialized career opportunity for energetic civilians and retired Armed Forces personnel to serve in the Explosive Detection Section (EDS), Surveillance Section (SS), and Canine Section (CS) of the provincial police force.

Vacant Positions and Eligibility Criteria

Written Test / Paper Composition

Candidates will have to pass a screening test to qualify for the next stages. The minimum passing criteria is 40% marks.

For General/Technical Posts (EDS & SS): * Part 1 (Subjective/Objective): General Knowledge + Pak Studies + Islamiyat (25 Marks), Urdu (12 Marks), English (13 Marks) = 50 Marks.
- Part 2 (MCQs): Technical Subject = 50 Marks.
For Canine Handlers:
- Part 1: MCQs relating to Canine Handling (50 Marks).
- Part 2: Practical Test for Canine Training, Handling, Vaccination, Care (50 Marks).

Required Documents: Attach attested copies of your educational certificates, experience letters, domicile, CNIC, and three (03) recent passport-sized photographs.
Application Fee: An application processing fee of Rs. 500/- must be deposited along with the form.
Submission: Submit the complete application package by hand or via courier to the respective Regional SSP Special Branch Offices (Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, or D.G. Khan).
