Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- Matric (2nd Division) with Science along with 3 years DAE in:
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Electronics
- Information Technology
- Automobile
OR
- FSc / Pre-Engineering (2nd Division) with 3 years Diploma from any recognized institution
OR - Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS) (2nd Division)
Age Limit
- 18 to 25 years
- General age relaxation: 5 years
- Additional age relaxation applicable for:
- Scheduled Castes
- Buddhists
- Sindh (Rural)
- Balochistan
- AJK
- Gilgit-Baltistan
- Government employees
- Ex-servicemen (as per rules)
Quota System
The following quotas will be observed:
- 60% – Open Merit
- 5% – Minorities / Non-Muslims
- 5% – Orphans
- 10% – Ex-Servicemen
- 20% – Railway employees’ quota (including deceased employees’ children)
Selection Criteria
- 70% Written Test
- 30% Interview
