The position is purely on a contract basis under the SPPS-I Scale. The initial contract is for two (02) years, which is extendable on a yearly basis up to a maximum of four years subject to satisfactory performance.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following strict qualification and experience criteria to be considered:
- Educational Qualification:
- A Ph.D. or a Master’s degree in Social Sector fields from a reputed HEC-recognized national or international university.
- Professional Experience:
- For Ph.D. holders: At least 14 years of experience in the relevant field at the policy-making level.
- For Master’s degree holders: At least 18 years of experience in the relevant field at the policy-making level.
Job Description / Terms of Reference
- Promote and develop social capital (SDGs, Poverty Alleviation, Social Harmony).
- Prepare effective plans for social sector development.
- Analyze implementation of social sector development plans.
- Organize research studies and disseminate findings to line ministries.
- Coordinate with development partners for Pakistan’s country strategy.
- Participate in CDWP and ECNEC meetings as a sector expert.
Salary Package
The selected candidate will be offered the SPPS-I Scale pay package. This is a top-tier professional scale with a highly competitive market-based salary.
