Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on Shariah principles for banking operations and microfinance products.
- Review and approve financial products, agreements, and contracts to ensure complete compliance with Islamic banking laws.
- Conduct regular Shariah audits and compliance checks across the bank’s branches and operations.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new, innovative, and Shariah-compliant financing solutions.
- Train and educate bank staff on Islamic banking guidelines and ethical financial practices.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: A recognized degree in Islamic Jurisprudence (Shahada-tul-Aalmiya) or a relevant Master’s degree in Islamic Finance/Economics.
- Experience: Proven, hands-on experience working as a Shariah Scholar or Advisor within the banking or microfinance sector.
- Skills: Deep understanding of Islamic commercial law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
