The University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, one of the oldest and most prestigious veterinary institutions in Asia, has announced a high-level career opportunity for the year 2026. Applications are invited from highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated Pakistani nationals (who are not married to a foreign national) for the senior administrative post of Treasurer (BS-20).

This appointment will be made purely on a contract basis for a tenure of three (03) years (not extendable). Successful candidates will enjoy perks and privileges equivalent to a Government Servant in BS-20.

The Treasurer acts as the principal financial officer of the university, responsible for managing its assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, funds, and investments, while ensuring compliance with statutory financial and auditing regulations.

Ph.D. in Finance/Commerce/Accounting/Auditing/Economics (HEC recognized) with 8 years post-qualification experience in BPS-17+ or equivalent.

MS / M.Phil. (18 years education) in relevant fields with 10 years post-qualification experience in BPS-17+.

MBA (Finance) / M.Com / ACCA / ACMA / M.Sc. (Economics) (16 years education, min 2nd Div) with 12 years post-qualification experience in BPS-17+.

Application Fee: Applicants must generate an online fee challan and deposit Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) at any branch of Bank Alfalah Ltd. in Pakistan.
Special Exemption: Special Persons (disabled candidates) are completely exempted from the application fee.
Previous Applicants: Candidates who already applied for this post under previous advertisements (IPL Nos. 1343 & 3954) do not need to pay the fee again. However, they must submit a fresh/updated job application along with all credentials.
