The Bus Driver is a dedicated BS-04 position strictly responsible for the safe, reliable, and punctual transportation of female students and university staff across designated city routes. The driver must conduct daily mechanical inspections, maintain immaculate vehicle cleanliness, and strictly adhere to all provincial traffic laws and safety regulations. Exceptional driving skills and a courteous demeanor are absolute necessities. Applicants must hold a Secondary School Certificate, possess valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) driving licenses, and bring a minimum of five years of proven, accident-free driving experience in a relevant organizational field.

Important Rules & Quotas

Quotas: 15% quota for Women, 5% quota for Minorities, and 3% Disabled quota will be implemented where applicable.
Age Relaxation: General age relaxation for initial recruitment is admissible as per the policy of the Government of the Punjab.

How to Apply

Interested candidates must carefully follow this two-step application process:

Online Application: All candidates must first apply online through the GSCWU Bahawalpur official website: www.gscwu.edu.pk. The online portal will close on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
Fee Challan: Generate the online fee challan. The non-refundable processing fee is Rs. 500/- for BS-01 to BS-05, and Rs. 1,000/- for BS-06 to BS-16.
Hard Copy Submission: Prepare three (03) complete sets of applications in bound form. Each set must include attested copies of degrees, certificates, one photograph, and one copy of the paid fee challan.
NOC: Government/Semi-Government employees must attach a copy of the No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Dispatch: Send all three sets via Registered Mail or Courier Service to the Information Desk, Gate No.02, The Government Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur. By-hand applications will not be accepted.
