Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC), a JCI accredited specialist tertiary care center, has announced new career opportunities for 2026. Built and funded by charitable donations, the hospital is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art cancer care through a team of highly qualified UK and US-trained physicians.

The hospital is currently inviting applications from accomplished and professional individuals for various medical, nursing, and administrative positions at its Lahore facility.

Appointment Criteria for Medical Consultants

Candidates applying for full-time consultant positions must meet one of the following sets of criteria:

For Candidates Trained in Pakistan:

Successful completion of a formal postgraduate medical education program.
Award of the Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (FCPS).
Completion of a relevant sub-specialty Fellowship.

For Candidates Trained Internationally:

Successful completion of MRCP (UK), FRCS, or another equivalent international fellowship.
American Board certification(s), including relevant sub-specialty boards, where applicable.
A minimum of three years of professional experience in a Western institution.

Medical & Consultant Positions

Specialized Consultants: Anaesthetist, Breast Surgeon, Chemical Pathologist, Critical Care, Gynecologic Oncology Surgeon, Medical Oncologist, Paediatric Surgeon, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Urologist, and over 20 other specialties.
Locum & Visiting Roles: Locum Consultant Anaesthesia, Medical Oncologist, and Visiting Consultant Dental Surgeon.
Fellowships & Residency: Fellow in Anaesthesia (SKM), CPSP Fellows (Infectious Diseases, Haematology Oncology), and Resident in Paediatrics.

Nursing & Paramedical Roles

Nursing Staff: Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager, Team Leader, Staff Nurse (I, II & III), and ICU Nurses.
