The appointment is on a three-year contract (extendable) under SECP’s Shariah Advisors Regulations, 2017, and the role oversees Shariah compliance of the Takaful business. Eligibility Criteria
Qualification (one of): (a) Shahadat-ul-Aalamiyyah (Dars-e-Nizami) with 70% marks plus an HEC-recognized Bachelor’s degree (2nd class); or (b) postgraduate degree in Kuliyyatush Shariah / Kuliyyah Usooluddin, L.L.M (Shariah), MS Shariah or equivalent with GPA 2.5+, from an HEC-recognized institution. Experience: 4 years of giving Shariah rulings in fiqh (preferably fiqh-ul-muamulat, incl. Takhasus-fil-Ifta), or 5 years in teaching/research/training in Islamic financial services, or 5 years in a relevant department of an Islamic financial institution or of a banking/securities/insurance-Takaful regulator. Appointment is on a 3-year contract, subject to SECP clearance.
