The Consultant for the NCDC is a highly specialized advisory and leadership role aimed at bridging the gap between academic research and commercial semiconductor industry standards. Similar in scope to the Professor role, the Consultant will drive innovation in chip design and verification processes. This expert will be responsible for overseeing complex design lifecycles, ensuring successful tape-outs, and establishing robust technological frameworks for the center. Working closely with industry partners, the consultant will help position NUST as a regional leader in semiconductor advancements. A PhD in a relevant engineering discipline and at least ten years of significant leadership experience in chip design are required.
