Change Grow Live (CGL) is on a mission to help people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. Volunteers are the backbone of this mission; last year alone, over 1,400 volunteers donated more than a quarter of a million hours to the organization.

CGL is currently seeking a dedicated Reward Volunteer to join their Transformation and Systems Team remotely (home-based). This unique role offers the chance to help shape the future of the organization’s pay and reward approach through the Job Architecture project, developing a fair, transparent, and equitable reward framework.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Reward Volunteer, you will work closely with the Head of Organisational Effectiveness and other internal teams. Core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project work on Job Architecture to review current pay arrangements.
  • Gathering and organizing information relating to pay, roles, and organizational structures.
  • Assisting with data collation and analysis to identify trends and key insights.
  • Contributing to the creation of briefing papers, executive summaries, and presentation materials.
  • Working with Finance and Systems teams to maintain data trackers and draft models.
  • Conducting market research to inform pay benchmarking and reward recommendations.
  • Assisting with job evaluation panels and preparing for stakeholder discussions.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal volunteer for this role will bring passion and specialist skills to the team. Requirements include:

  • Knowledgeable in reward and pay best practices.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel to analyze large datasets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Comfortable working with people across different roles and backgrounds.
  • Open to feedback, continuous learning, and following CGL’s code of conduct.
